当天的活动是这样的:
有些义工会牵着弱视，或是盲人朋友们的手，然后一起走2.4km的路程。
从Esplanade(旧关仔角)开始走，然后经过观音亭，银行街。。。
有些义工就负责沿途中派传单给经过的人士。
参与的义工当中有男女老少，马来同胞，印度同胞，华人同胞，连外国人都有来帮忙哦!
有些则是父母带着年幼的孩子来参与。

我想和朋友一起拍张照片，刚好身边有一个弱视的同学，我便请他帮我们拍照罗!
他戴着很厚很厚的眼镜。
我教他怎样按钮，也告诉他我想要请他拍的范围。
然后就，喀嚓!
一次就OK了!
虽然他拍不到所有我想要的范围，但是他拍得很清晰哦!
(为了表示我很满意他拍的照片，我决定不再重拍!)
于是，我秀回那张照片给他看。
接着，我们马上笑着对他说"The photo is very nice! Thank you very much!"
他露出了很高兴，很满足的笑容!
(不知道猜得对不对? 这是我一厢情愿的想法啦!!)

其实当义工有分成很多种的。
我只是part time的。
我只是利用早上睡懒觉的时间来帮忙他人而以。

White cane? I thought it referred to the can used to whip kids, LOL...
Malaysia is certainly not as disabled-friendly as many Western countries. The White Cane Day is very meaningful.

Maybe you should have asked him/her to take another photos at different view...
It is really kind of you to ask the guy to help you take pic. Sometimes it is this small gestures that makes special people feels appreciated and accepted by society. A friendly smile and a soft-spoken comment of appreciation is all that needs to bring impact to them :D
